| Biography |
| I am Mike Hall, from Chandler, AZ by way of Maryville, TN. I might live out west, but the mountains of East Tennessee will always be my home. I have a wife (Bonnie) and two lovely daughters of 16;(jade) and 11 (michaela) that tolerate me abandoning them for a few nights a week for the better part of nine months out of the year! to run in STRL!;My dad got me into racing early on, racing go karts when I was around 4 or 5. After becoming a rusty ole vertern in the go kart ranks at the ripe old age of 12 we moved into modified street and then at 14 made the move to late model dirt. Looking back I had some opportunites laid in front of me, I was just too young to realize it. We traveled all over the southeast, but called Atomic Motor Speedway home. After some hard lessons and growing pains on the track, I was finally ready to compete with my cousin, arguably the best late mode dirt track driver of this era (Scott Bloomquist). We won quite a few races, but never enough to sustain a top level late model car. My racing career pretty much ended when I decided to leave home and join the NAVY. After a couple years dad decided to sell the operation, and then we could never get the funds to get back into it. About 7 years ago I was contacted by a guy and we were in negotiations about running a few ARCA races. I went to AMS and attended Andy Hillenbergs school where I aquired my ARCA;license. That deal fell through and so I turned to sim racing where I have been since the days of N1. I am a proud member of Blue Ridge Racing, and have some of the best team mates a person could ask for. Now it's time to bring the hardware back to our house!! |
