Mellendorf Crowned 2009 El Camino Champion
Brian Mellendorf was officially crowned the 2009 El Camino Champion after the race at Homestead last night. Mellendorf raced in every event in the 2009 season and showed incredible consistency. Mellendorf had a series high 7 wins, a series high top 5 finishes (21), a series high top 10 finishes (22), a series high poles (9), and an average finishing position of just over 3.0.
