Mellendorf Wins at Phoenix

Phoenix, AZ. – Brian Mellendorf dominated the race at Phoenix. Mellendorf led 70 of the 78 laps on his way to his 6^th win of the season. Mellendorf also got the pole for the race. The win ties Mellendorf with Jeff Sykes for most wins this season with only one race remaining. The race had only 1 yellow for a spin out of turn 4 by Jeff Sykes that collected Jamie Bray. Keith Mclain would finish in 2^nd after having to start in the rear of the field. Danny Sanchez finished in 3^rd and new comer Mike Garaguso finished in 4^th. Woody Sykes rounded out the top 5 finishers in 5^th. The series heads to Miami Homestead for the final race of the season next week.
